A clear process from onboarding to execution.
Each engagement follows a structured path—from understanding the founder and company, through research and advisement, to delivery, execution, and continued support.
THE PROCESS
How Frictionless Advisory Works
A simple five-step process for understanding the founder, diagnosing the company, building the direction, delivering the work, and helping put it into practice.
01 | Onboarding
We start by getting a full picture of the founder and the company. The onboarding is built to understand what you are working on, where things currently stand, what you are trying to accomplish, and what is getting in the way. We also want to understand how you work, what experience you already have, what resources are available, and where you feel the most uncertain. Once that first layer is complete, we follow up on anything that needs more context before the engagement moves forward.
Detailed founder + company onboarding
Goals, constraints, skills, stage, and current situation
Follow-up questions based on your responses
Founder context carried through the full engagement
02 | Diagnosis
Once we understand the situation, we start figuring out what actually matters. This is where we review the company as it exists today and identify the biggest questions, weak points, opportunities, and decisions in front of you. The goal is to create a clear picture of where the business really stands so the rest of the work can focus on the areas that deserve attention first.
Review of current state + context
Identify problems, gaps, unknowns, opportunity
Separate immediate priorities from secondary concerns
Establish the main focus of the engagement
03 | Research & Advisement
This is where the bulk of the work happens. We research whatever is relevant to the company and the questions at hand, which can include the market, customers, competitors, industry, business models, pricing, positioning, distribution, or comparable companies. That information is combined with the founder context and our own experience to shape the strategy, recommendations, priorities, and next steps for the business.
Typically 7-14 business days
Strategy, guidance, advisement built around real context
Market, customer, competitor, founder, and industry research
Relevant examples, outside context, and supporting evidence
04 | Delivery
The work is then brought together into a clear advisory output built around the engagement. What is included depends on the company and the problems being worked through, but the focus is always on making the work easy to understand and useful once it reaches the founder. Strategy, research, recommendations, resources, and execution guidance are organized into something that can actually be used rather than simply reviewed once and forgotten.

Supporting resources, examples, systems, and tools
Clear priorities and areas of focus
05 | Clarity + Execution
Delivery is where the work becomes useful in practice. After the main advisory output is complete, there is a defined clarity period to work through the recommendations, ask questions, make sense of new information, and get help applying the direction to real decisions. As the company starts moving, things change quickly, so this period gives the work room to develop alongside the founder rather than ending the moment it is delivered.
30 days of clarity support after delivery

Help applying recommendations to real execution and actions

06 | Continue + Extend (Optional)
Once the core engagement and post-delivery period are complete, founders can keep using the project context through Seedcore Intelligence or continue into a more hands-on implementation engagement. Guided Implementation is available in 2-, 4-, or 6-week formats for founders who want continued advisory support, additional research, supplemental work, or help putting the original direction into practice.
